The Tottenham striker scored twice in the first half
against Watford on what was his 100th appearance in England's top-flight
to move level with the Arsenal great.
Harry Kane scored his 58th and 59th Premier League goals on his 100th
appearance in the competition to move level with Thierry Henry.
The Arsenal great managed to score 59 in his first century of matches
in England's top-flight league, with Kane matching that record in the
first 45 minutes of Spurs's meeting with Watford.
England striker Kane first pounced after 27 minutes as he
slotted home Kieran Trippier's through-ball, before the duo combined
again shortly with the 23-year-old firing past Gomes for the second
time.
The fixture against Watford at Vicarage Road was already significant
for Kane as he brought up his 100th Premier League appearance.
He achieved 97 of those games with Spurs, with three of them coming
while on loan with Norwich City back in the 2012-13 campaign.
Henry scored a total of 175 Premier League goals for Arsenal during
his career, leaving him fifth in the all-time list that is led by Alan
Shearer (260).
